The exact blend for this wine changes every year, but the formula is always the same. We are attempting to emulate an Italian lunch wine with bright fruit flavors, preserved by aging in stainless steel. We rely primarily on the grape Piedmont variety Barbera to produce the bulk of this wine, from here we blend a few barrels of aging wine into the tank to provide some depth and keep a consistency of flavor from year to year.
