Community Kickoff for Lutsong Music Festival

Rather than our usual Thursday Night Date Night, this Thursday we are helping kick off a weekend of great music at the Lutson Music Festival! This is a free community event so while you should buy a ticket to the rest of the lutsong weekend, you don't need one on Thursday. 

The Scarlet Goodbye Duo will kick things off from 6:00 to 6:45. This duo combines the great musicians Daniel Murphy and Jeff Arundel. Murphy is recognized as an important member of Minnesota's rock pedigree from his days in Soul Asylum through his founding of the Golden Smog. Arundel is a singer-songwriter of great acclaim. Together this unlikely duo is making uniquely nostalgic midwest rock. 

Sarah Morris will close out the night, playing from 7:00-8:00. Sarah will be a familiar name to people who follow the Minnesota Singer-songwriter scene and those who regularly attend our Sunday music series, the Weekend Winedown! Sarah is a strong voice among Minnesota musicians with a smooth songwriting and musical style that brings Americana to a new place.
