North Shore Winery July Grand Opening
June 20, 2016 – Lutsen, Minn. – North Shore Winery owners, Chuck and Kim Corliss, are pleased to announce the official opening of North Shore Winery on Friday, July 1. The grand opening celebration will be held Saturday, July 16 and Sunday, July 17. The winery will offer wine and hard cider for tastings and purchase along with artisan cheese and meat products.
“We have been busy creating a special space for North Shore visitors and locals to relax and enjoy our wine and ciders,” states Chuck Corliss, North Shore Winery owner and winemaker. “We are looking forward to opening and hope our guests enjoy the ambiance of our tasting room and outside seating areas.”
The Grand Opening event includes music, food, and fun. Beverages will be available for purchase for tastings or by the glass and carafe. Bottles of wine and cider will also be available for purchase.

Saturday, July16

The winery project began in 2012 when the couple purchased property on Ski Hill Road in Lutsen. The winery manufacturing facility and tasting room were completed in 2015. Wine production began last fall, and there will be five red wines, four white wines, and two ciders bottled and available by opening day.
The winery and tasting room, located on Ski Hill Road in Lutsen, Minn., is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The tasting room, managed by Rob Grubbs, will offer a flight of tastings for a fee along with carafe, glass, and bottle purchases of wine and hard cider. The tasting room will also offer a selection of Minnesota crafted cheeses and cured meats to enjoy while visiting the winery.
